Robyn Forsythe - Producer
Robyn specialises in development and production of female projects - whether these are female characters, or women behind the camera.
Her debut feature "Honky Tonk Angels" has completed filming, which she is producing with Serena Armitage (Oscar winning 'The Stutterer'), and is directed by David Luke Rees. The Executive Producer is Bennett McGhee ('VS', 'Brooklyn'). The film is currently in post-production and will be seeking completion financing during summer 2018.
Her first experience of Producing was the eight part drama series 'Life As I Know It' for Channel M. Robyn developed, successfully pitched and produced the show, which aired nationally in 2009. Having had a pilot produced by the BBC she produced 'Never Land' for UNION PICTURES INTERNATIONAL - an Ideas Tap funded short film, for which she was nominated for Best Producer at the Underwire Film Festival. She has now produced 7 short films including Morgane Polanski's 'The Stroke'. Her shorts have screened at BFI, Palm Springs, Aesthetica and many others.
Robyn was selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival talent lab as a producer in 2018, and is a member of BAFTA Crew.
Robyn works as a Line Producer and Production Manager on feature films and has recently completed shooting on Joanna Hogg’s 'The Souvenir' a BFI/BBC Films financed feature with Executive Producer Martin Scorsese.
Robyn has a law degree and a Biology degree, and runs a non-profit that provides education and health care for a Maasai community in Kenya.
Anna Hoghton - Creative Director
Anna Hoghton is a writer/director. She has an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University and is a published poet who was shortlisted for the Lancelot Andrewes Award by Carol Ann Duffy and commissioned to perform at Bristol Festival of Ideas. She writes for Tremolo theatre company, whose debut show was selected for the Underbelly at Edinburgh. Her most recent short film 'Never Land', won the Ideastap Film Fund and was made in partnership with Cape Farewell, starring Marcus Brigstocke, Keeley Hawes, Brian Bovell and John Nettles. In 2015, Anna was nominated for Rife Magazine's list of 'Influential Bristolians under the age of 24'. She spent two years on BAFTA’s Youth Board and now works as a Visual Storyteller for Pixillion.
Anna is the writer/director for UNION PICTURES INTERNATIONAL's short film ‘Never Land’, and feature ‘Eden’.
Edie Walwyn - Producer's Assistant
Edie Walwyn is a Producer's Assistant for UNION PICTURES INTERNATIONAL. She also writes scripts, but has also written on politics, gender, education and celebrity culture for the Manchester Media Group's Mancunion newspaper and website. She takes strong influence from writers such as Dorothy Parker, George Orwell and the Beats. Aside from UNION PICTURES INTERNATIONAL, Edie also works for Blend Media. In her spare time, she is involved in activism, but also reads and travels. She is also a patron of the Canterbury Shakespeare Festival.
